We are the only primary school in Amsterdam to offer bilingual primary education (TPO) for our pupils from four to twelve years old. In bilingual primary education, students are taught 30-50% of the time in English. Furthermore, we create a challenging learning environment in which there is sufficient time for the core subjects: arithmetic, language, reading, writing, geography, history, science and technology. We also devote time to the social, motor and creative development of our students.

De Visserschool is a multicultural school, something we are very proud of. Together we have more than 40 nationalities at our school. The main languages are Dutch and English. Some students speak even more languages at home. What unites us, is our central focus on global awareness
